Holiday house „Josefa“ with Garden in Grainau

Holiday home 'Josefa' is located in the town of Grainau, in the Zugspitz region. Located on the edge of the forest, it boasts stunning mountain views. The house is fully equipped for a maximum of 9 adults and 2 small children. Children are welcome guests. Pets are welcome, too!

The house is surrounded by a garden and has a south-west-facing terrace with a BBQ area and 2 balconies. The holiday home has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an additional toilet for guests. 3 of the bedrooms feature a spacious king-size bed and one of them has an additional sofa bed. The 4th bedroom has a bed that is 1.4 metres wide. The ground floor comprises a spacious living room with a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with an additional dining table. You can rent the entire holiday home, including the cellar with laundry room, which is accessible via an outside staircase. There are two TV flats, Wi-Fi, two car parking spaces and much more.

Important note on booking: Depending on the season, the booking calendar indicates a minimum stay and preferred arrival and departure days. If you are planning a shorter stay or wish to arrive or depart on different days, please email or call us to request this.

Bed linen and towels can be added as a linen package (10 € / person) when booking. We can provide you a potable crip (10 €) and a highchair (5 €) for your stay. Please note that we charge 15 € / night for your pet.

The municipality Grainau charges visitor`s tax per person per night. This tax must be paid in addition to the rental price, in cash, on arrival. (Adults from 16 years: 3.50 €; children 6-15 years: 1.50 €; children up to 5 years are free). Every guest receives a "Zugspitz Arena Bayern-Tirol CARD" guest card offering various discounts, including free use of the local bus, as well as reductions for attractions such as the swimming pool, Partnachklamm and museums.

The holiday home "Josefa" is in Grainau directly on the way to the valley station of the Zugspitzbahn and the Eibsee. You can reach both in 5 minutes by car or by local bus. Hiking trails are in the very close.

It takes between five and 15 minutes to walk to the centre of Grainau, where you’ll find shops, Badersee Lake, the Zugspitzbad Grainau (which features indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna and a fitness centre), the spa gardens and cross-country ski trails (some of which are lit at night). There are also hiking and biking trails.
